When the "Warm" setting shuts off and there's still coffee in the pot, I just hit the Brew button to reset "warm". The coffee maker senses that brewing was completed and then goes into warm mode.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not what you want to hear, but; we had the same issue first use. After spending 30 minutes on hold with Cuisinart, was advised to turn the brew knob back to "auto off". Did not seem to work, tried again next day, same result. I contacted [email protected] and had no response. Used "contact us" on their website. Finally got a response on how to return for exchange (you pay all shipping costs)....but did not answer my question on how to reactivate warming tray. Replied to their email with the instructions for exchanging......no response. We pulled it after day two and are using our previous coffeemaker. At this point, we may just return to Kohl's. Maybe you will have better luck in getting an answer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I always set the auto off time to 2-4 hours but if I need my coffee hot longer than that all you need to do is turn the knob to brew, hit brew, and then the light will pulsate showing it’s brewing but isn’t since you do not have any water in there. It’ll beep to show that it’s finished and then the warm light will be on and you’ll be good to go. If that doesn’t work, it sounds like a machine problem or if it doesn’t stay on long enough you may not have set your auto off time!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same problem. Taking it back for a refund and getting a different make. The "keep warm" function of this doesn't seem to work, and that's no good at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Whether warming was interrupted by using the single cup feature or if it simply timed out, just press the brew button again! After it figures out that all the water is gone in the reservoir, the same way it does when it finishes brewing, it'll beep 5 times and resume warming if you've turned that feature on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I figured out the warming plate “defect” with the DGB-800 machine. You cannot clean the basket with grinds until you are done with the coffee. Once you open the basket to clean, the machine shuts down in 30 seconds. I returned 4of these things until I realized this was the problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This worked perfect for us. As long as the water resevour is empty, although with our SS16 series you have to first push the CARAFE button and then the BREW button and after 30 seconds or so the machine beeps 5 times signaling brewing completed (as no water in the resevour I suppose) and the the warming plate will be on again and stays on per your settings time/temp. Thank you so much!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Keep warm 10 hours a day
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To reactivate the warming plate on the Cuisinart 4 in 1 with a brew knob, Simply turn the knob to brew and then hit the on/off button again, causing the brew light to flash slowly and wait 60 seconds. As long as the coffee pot brewing reservoir is empty, after 60+ seconds the coffee maker will sence the reservoir is empty, then beep five times and turn the warmer back plate back on again for the set warming interval.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ours was set for auto brew. I turned the auto off and then pressed then set the temperature to H (high). I then checked the hot plate and it was hot.
