QuestionMy coffeemaker is a bit older and it does still make good coffee. My problem that I need fixed is the gauge that shows the amount left in the pot. It does not work anymore. I have tried to clean the moveable float that did not seem to fix Any ideas.

- Answer First, make sure you have correctly set the time, including "AM" or "PM" on the coffee maker using the "CLOCK" setting. After setting that time, turn the knob to the "AUTO OFF" setting. You will see another clock which can be set to keep the pot on from a few minutes to 4 hours. Set the total number of minutes or hours that you want the pot to stay on. So if you want hot coffee for two hours, set the clock for 2:00 and then move the dial back to the main clock or to "Auto On" or "Brew" if you turn your pot on manually. Hope this helps!!

QuestionIs there anyway you can turn the brewed coffee temperature up? It is DEFINITELY NOT HOT ENOUGH! I researched this pot Cuisanart on demand and people were saying it was hot coffee. Well mine definitely not!

- Answer ...its really easy just add enough coffee and water for two cups if your not sure of water amt since its not a measurement in the system full an actual cup 2x or use a measuring cup and pourr into water dispenser, then just set coffee maker to brew and press the 1-4 cups.

- Answer Reheat in the machine? Not sure. Could take awhile to reheat in the machine. Mine never lasts long enough to get cold. I have it set to turn off after 3 hours. If I need to reheat coffee I usually do it in the microwave. This is the second one I’ve owned and had the first one for a few years. I really like this machine so I bought the exact same one. I can program to be done when I get up in the morning. Auto shut off 3 hours. If I need it on longer I just turn it back on

QuestionHow do you clean this coffee pot using vinegar

- Answer Put clean coffee filter in. Pour white vinegar in reservoir where water goes. Run it through the machine. When done brewing pour it out. Put in clean coffee filter and run water thru. I usually run water thru it about 4 times to make sure I get the vinegar taste out. That’s it. Time consuming but very easy.

QuestionIs the water filter holder suppose to fit all the way to the botton of its slot in the reservoir? Mine will not go all the way to the bottom leaving a 1/4" gap or so between the bottom of the filter and the bottom of the slot.

- Answer I don't think the coffee maker will work unless the reservoir is snug in the bottom. That happened to me once, but after the reservoir was put in properly I had no problems.

QuestionI have only had this coffee pot a couple months and all of the sudden it won't start. You can hear it click after you push the start button, but then..... nothing!took it all out, reset everything. Still won't brew

- Answer The overflow hole is designed to prevent overfilling the reservoir. You can prevent water spilling out of the hole by not overfilling the reservoir.
