Water side fills and works independently from coffee pot side. Not for K cups!

The hot water feature is separate from the coffee brewer. It dispenses hot water for tea or hot chocolate.

No, only can make a single cup of hot water / tea. Pot of coffee or single cup of hot water

I make cups of coffee based off of the amount of water in the larger coffee pot. There are measurements on the coffee pot for cup sizes. You have to know how much coffee grinds to put in to brew smaller batches. A large Iced Coffee cup from Dunkin Donuts is about 5/6 cups of coffee in the pot.
