You need to pull the lid off from the handle side of the lid. The front portion of the lid fits into the carafe, and the "handle" portion of the lid snaps into the handle. Lift up on the portion of the lid by the handle and it should pop right off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hold carafe by handle use thumb on same hand to open lid use other hand to grab lid while open and tilt twist wrist and it pops off with ease. You wont break the lid it is very durable. My last machine and pot lasted 5 years. I bought the same exact one and I'm still using the old pot and lid. Hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am glad that I found this thread - I have exactly the same question! I saw this video on the cuisinart web site and the woman who is demonstrating how to clean the coffee maker snaps it off from the back, as has been mentioned. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PaRorrHJhmQ
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It can be done, but poorest design I've ever seen. It should have a flip lid and not tax your hand strength. So stupid. I'm returning it for that reason. Well among others.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the ninja dual brew cfp200 It spins off. Turn left past the click. Spins on the same way. All the way to the right, till it clicks in place
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I resorted to prying the lid of my new coffee maker off with the handle end of a wooden spoon. Maybe it will get easier to pull off as I use it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That's the way it is designed. I try to use the part above the handle and not the spout side, but I don't see any other way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think it's meant to be removed, but my package came sans instruction booklet.
