“How do you activate making coffee without using the programmable feature?”

• The on/off button has a dial around it that can switch to and from different settings. "Auto-on" is the programable one and "brew" will start right away when turned on. Rotate the dial until the black tick mark lines up with "brew." Then press the on/off button. A red light should illuminate on the button and coffee will brew.

• I don't use the programmable feature,I just add the coffee and water and hit the button(the power on) to start the perking. I hope this is what you were asking.
