Do crumbs leak out of the bottom tray on the counter? null

Cusinart toaster leaves crumbs on countertop under toaster. Clean crumb tray every week. No photo because just finished cleaning them up. Annoying!

I haven't had that problem at all. But if you don't empty the crumb trays every so often, they will leak no matter what toaster you buy. The trays on this toaster are extremely easy to empty out.

We've had it about a month now. We haven't had any crumbs showing up on the counter. To be completely honest our last toaster was about 15 years old and it didn't have a crumb tray. You had to turn it upside down and shake them out. Talk about a mess! But I've forgotten it was there to do. I'm going to go in right now to empty the trays. But there aren't any crumbs outside the toaster.

So far we have not found any crumbs below the tray on the counter. Don't like that either. Catches the crumbs on the pull-out bottom trays. We do toast on top of a thin plastic cutting board in case of the issue which makes it easier to clean up, but so far have not had that problem.

Not so far, but hasn't had a ton of use quite yet.
