Q: QuestionDo you have to have a Culligan System to use this filter system? Can it just be installed on it's own?

• A:Answer This filter housing can be installed on it's own. In my case, we have a well. I have this as a whole house filter, followed by a soft water system. The soft water system is manufactured by a totally different company. On a side note, I've tried filters in this housing by several different manufacturers. In the end, you'll have to decide which filter you prefer.

• A:Answer Best Buy does not install. You'll need to hire a plumber, though installation is easy, and should take less than an hour. Your plumber can easily adapt your water line to fit the 1" inlet on this Culligan system.
