Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Using the company supplied software (downloadable), you can set the parameters at where the UPS kicks in and disengages from the wall circuit. From the factory, it takes over at something around 100volts on the low side and 135 on the high side. Between those values it just watches as it assumes the equipment attached will work in that range. If you want it to provide battery power during conditions at say 110v rather than 100, then adjust the settings. CyberPower makes units that do what you are asking, but they are somewhat to much more expensive. Check out their EcoLogic, LCD, and AVR lines - all have Automatic Voltage Regulation rather than surge protection and instant switch to battery.
