Not recommended. Most battery backup units will not run a standard motor fan due to the higher AMP draw of the fan motor. The fan will run at lower speed, but ultimately will damage both the fan motor and the backup unit. It would be best to run a USB fan. Some USB fans now are large enough to cool a small room.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've got a smart TV cell phone, Alexa TV, Dish, Hulu, microwave, computer, iPad and other small accessories. All plugged into the same unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was told to look at the power supply for the computer and make sure the power output of the battery backup was 80% at least of that. I have a custom computer with three fans, one pretty large, and the store employee recommended this unit. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will, although it will beep while there is an outage. All UPS' designed for computer use, like this one, aren't designed for "offline power" so warn you when the power is out. While the beep isn't bad, it could get annoying after awhile. (It's designed to be an annoying sound.) Better to buy a dedicated "power bank". For example, the portable units that have options like the ability to jump start a car, or have an air compressor to fill up a ball or air mattress. Some of those have a 120vac inverter to run small appliances. Those are designed for (somewhat) continuous use without beeping.
