Eventually yes the battery will need replacing. But you should get several years before that happens. If it’s a newer unit my only guess it’s overloaded and the battery cannot power what you have plugged in. Only other option is a defective battery.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That’s usually the case. After some time, you have to replace rechargeable batteries on all electronics, these included. However, just make sure you plugged the equipment into the back-up supply area, not just the power-surge area! (Been there done that Lol!) If you do replace the battery, be sure to give the new battery (super-simple to install) a full charge before you plug anything back in. Resist the temptation to use it immediately!
