Mine does after turning on the power button. If yours does not, I would swap it out for another unit.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My CyberPower 850 AVR does say "surge+battery" on six outlets on the left side. The six outlets on the right side are listed only as "surge".

Under a power outage, if the unit is sufficiently charged and the total load on the surge-battery outlets is below the rated wattage (460 watts for this unit). In very rare cases, a plug may not be making proper contact with the socket connections. Suggested trouble shooting steps - with maybe a few different low power devices like a phone charger or small plug-in led lamp: 1. Make sure UPS is plugged into working outlet, is turned on, adequately charged and circuit breaker (button on end) isn't tripped 2. Is there power to any outlet? If not: a. Make sure UPS is plugged into a working outlet & is turned on b. Reset the circuit-breaker on the unit 3. If any of the outlets not working then the device is defective. 4. Try a larger capacity load - but within the UPS's rating i.e. a couple 100W bulbs in lamp. If it doesn't "hold", UPS is defective.
