best is if you get a external sdd for saving the games i personally have a 1tb external because 500gbs in todays world of gaming is not enough also upgrading the ram to maybe 16gbs would help your son enjoy this even more
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For most of casual users, 500G will be more than enough. However, you can add extra SSD drives in the case if you need. Also there is high-power USB port if you require hi-power USB drive.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure why joseq is answering questions he doesn't understand. It is definitely NOT recommended to play games from an external drive, SSD or HDD. You also have no need for a more expensive external drive when there is room in there for internal ones. Speaking as a student, I would save money and go with an HDD. They don't last as long but they're around 1/4 the price. SSDs do not make a difference in the vast majority of games, as they only improve the speed of loading games and game assets like the environment. The most they do for gaming is prevent the slight stutter when traveling in poorly made open-world games. There are also SSD/HDD hybrids that find a middle ground between speed and cost. That said, if the cost of an SSD isn't a big deal to you, go ahead and grab one. Practically any brand and model will work, just make sure it says SATA somewhere. Seagate and Ironwolf are the most well-known brands. The problem with this PC case is it doesn't come with trays to hold drives. You can most likely install them yourself easily enough, it's just a thin metal rack connected by screws. SSDs have no moving parts, so you could just plug one in without securing it to the case. You will definitely want more storage. Between Windows and those two games you mentioned, you're only using around 100Gb, but some AAA games are getting very big nowadays. CoD Warzone takes up 120Gb I think. You can get by with less space by uninstalling games you aren't currently playing, but that's a huge pain and there's always a chance of messing up and losing your save files. PC gaming is great because games are always on sale (shoutout to humblebundle.com), so your kid will get more and more games quickly enough.
