Steve, double check your inputs on coolermaster. The calculator at (https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator) also indicates that the load wattage is about 407, and that is including liquid cooling and extra case fans.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure where you are getting that information from. The RTX 2070 Super uses 215 Watts. I have seen some stress test benchmarks push it when overclocked to 230 watts but that's under extreme load. The 3700X is a 75 watt CPU. 600 Watts should be fine. If you upgraded your CPU or your GPU you'd probably want to upgrade the PowerSupply too but with what the system ships 600 Watts should be ok from what I've seen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Thanks for reaching out Don1. The recommended wattage for the RTX 2070 Super is 650 watts. However, if you look at the footnote, it says, "Pre-built system may require less power depending on system configuration." Each system may pull more or less wattage than others depending on the configuration. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A system with these components has a recommended PSU of about 416 watts according to https://www.coolermaster.com/power-supply-calculator/ A 600 watt 80+gold power supply should be more than enough.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 2070 super does not require a minimum of 650 watts it pulls around 215 watts
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Im using a Noctua NH-D15 Cooler on a 5600x with a RM850 PSU, and even playing Forza Horizon 5 im pulling 109.24w core 100.52 package (HWMonitor) and the gpu is capped at 246.50w. Better power supply always helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.2070 supper
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just entered in the min ATX motherboard, ram, ssd, gpu, and cpu into Coolermaster and it says 506 watts. That's not including case fans or the liquid cooling. That would leave no headroom for any spikes and is clearly an issue
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Here is a link to the manufacturer page for the PNY 2070 super that is currently in my cyber power pc. Scroll down to system requirements and you see they list a minimum of 650 watts. It’s not much of a difference but that’s more strain on the power supply and one part that is going to fail quick. https://www.pny.com/geforce-rtx-2070-super-8gb-blower
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Here is a link to the gpu that is in my system. I have a 600 watt psu in my system yet the manufacturer has a minimum of 650 watts listed in their site. https://www.pny.com/geforce-rtx-2070-super-8gb-blower
