1. Open the side of the case that is directly in back of the CPU, and 2. Find all the fan-light connectors, which will be black, rectilinear and fairly flat; they are male and female couplings on those connectors are usually taped together with black electrical tape. There will be as many connectors and there are fans with lights, and 3. Take off the black electrical tape, pull the connectors apart (they do not lock into each other) and note that one of the fan-lights goes out. 4. After disconnecting the male and female sides of the connections, it is recommended to put electrical tape over at least the male sides so that they will not come in contact with the metal case or with other parts of the computer. end

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On the Cyberpowerpc that I have, there is a software folder called ASRock. It allows you to change colors and turn colors off and on. Depending on your system, there may be a different software installed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Some owners like to paint the LED lights on a fan with a black, blue or red magic marker to reduce the light significantly. Heat buildup is not a problem with LEDs. Fan LEDs are usually in series with fan power so turning them off is not possible. (Read your instructions or call the Manufacturers Support line). The lights do serve as indicators that the fan is working and that the computer is running. Eventually the fans will require replacement after a few years and fans without LEDs can replace them. I suggest you touch them up with a translucent marker WITH THE POWER OFF AND THE COMPUTER UNPLUGGED FROM THE WALL AFTER YOU SHUT IT DOWN. Rosewill's 120mm case fans, although inexpensive, are very well made and highly reliable. They can be obtained singley, in pairs, or in packages of 4 fans, in super-quiet, high pressure, or variable speed versions, with and without lights. Make sure they have the same 3 or 4 point connectors if you replace a fan.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On CyberPowerPc models with rainbow lights, they all have 2 buttons on them. You can click or hold down on these buttons to cycle through options including one to turn it off. Alternatively, after a while of being away from keyboard the lights turn off automatically.
