Hey Sonny! I've had this PC for about 2 weeks now and that was the first thing I noticed when it powered up. I actually contacted customer support about it and found out a somewhat sad truth. The way this PC is built is the result of the noise. The fan thats so loud is a case fan. It is a 3 pin connected directly to the power supply, meaning it runs full speed always. Now if it was a 4 pin you could hook it to the motherboard, and then control the speed through the BIOS and things like that. Basically you can maybe buy a fan controller, or buy a new 4 pin fan, and connect it to the motherboard. Hope this helped!

The fans are connected to the Power Supply, so open the case, connect the fans to the motherboard (see in the manual where the fans heathers are located). Once you have done that, go to BIOS pressing F2 as soon as the computer starts and set the fans to DC-Smart Fan. The noise will disappear. On a side note: I'm extremely disappointed with this computer, because of the building flaws, the cheap CPU fan (non Ryzen), the outdated Bios, and the RAM GPR416GB2400C16DC that was used (because is a RAM intended for 2 slots and CyberpowerPC saved money dividing the set between two computers. Unprofessional.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very, very disappointed with CyberPowerPC here. They decided to instead of connecting the fans to the motherboard where mind you, there are TWO, count them, TWO open 4-pin system fan connectors. But nooooo. They decided to go the easy route and more "appealing route" (in cable management's sake) and actually use 2 molex ports from the PSU (power supply). In order to do this however, they actually needed 2 adapters. Again, very very disappointed. And to CyperPower, why would you not just give us the darn stock CPU fan that goes along with the Ryzen 5 1400?? You actually gave us a cheaper, worse fan.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem. It sounds like it's on full blast when starting up and then gets less noisy once I'm logged in. I've been able to get it to stop starting at full blast by going into the BIOS and setting it to silent, which isn't very silent at all, but it does stop the crazy sound at startup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The case fans installed in the computer are normal standard case fans, so noise will be produced. If you hear a rattling it is possible the case fans may have gotten loose and require to be tighten. I recommend contacting our tech support team for assistance determining the issue; we're always happy to help. Tech support: (888)937-5582 - Cyber_Tech2
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can. Look on the back of the case and there will be a switch that has a O and I what you need to do is whenever you run a game and the fans get to loud you need to press the switch down to the I. This will turn off ALL fans and the light strips and your computer will not overheat :)
