Thank you for reaching out to us. The best way to purchase more RAM for the PC would be to look up the serial number on the side of the RAM online and purchase the exact same stick. It is always recommended that you have matching sticks of RAM inside your PC to avoid incompatibility issues.

Don't be afraid to turn the computer off and open the case and take a look at the memory. Two levers hold it down ..one on each side. Just put it back and make sure it clicks in properly. If put in properly the levers should close on their own without you needing to anything. If it doesn't click in properly then the computer might not turn on properly. Just check the levers if that happens. It just didn't set in properly. Watch a quick YouTube as memory has been installed and removed the same way on practically every computer ever made. Also take a picture before you touch it so you know what side goes where.. you can do it.
