“What are average/safe gaming temps for both the CPU and GPU? After a couple hours of gaming my CPU avg around 72c while the GPU avg 72c, peak temps from the CPU was 81 and 75 for the GPU. Do those numbers seem safe? Case airflow isn't good either.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That seems right for the gpu as the stock fan curve favors lowering noise volume instead of temperature. Just go into Amds software and make a more aggressive fan curve in the tuning performance section. My Temps were like yours and now average in the low 60s during long gaming sessions. Also go into windows power management and lower the power mode from better performance to best energy savings and your cpu temps will drop, mine went from 55c to 64c game temps and lowest to 40c at idle.
