QuestionDoes this work in a 3 way switch setup. I would like to install it for my kitchen lights which can be controlled by two wall switches. Or do I need to install two of these Smart Light Switches?

- Answer Yes, it works in a three way set up. They say that you need 2 switches but as long as you don't manually turn off either of the switches once you set it up, 1 will work.

QuestionIs there a remote battery switch that can be used with this? I want to control from another room without having to rely on Alexa. I had trouble getting Alexa to work with another brand(tp-link) consistently and would prefer a physical switch/button.

- Answer No it doesn’t have a timer but you can always open the app and turn the lights off if you think they are on.

QuestionCan I use this switch for a ceiling fan with a light kit mounted to it? Both use one switch. Don't want to dim the lights just use a smart switch to turn the light and fan on/off.

QuestionDoes the circle in the center light up like the dimmer switch? Can this also be used to replace fixture switches (i.e. fan switch)?

- Answer Thanks for reaching out Kevin. For the button style switches such as this one the light ring does light up and change colors depending on the status of the switch. If you are intending this to work with a fan switch then this switch will work as well as it has a neutral wire to power the motor in the fan. QuestionFew Questions If this switch works on 3 -way whats the difference between this switch and the 3-way switch they sell? Do these work on florescent lights? Can you disable dimming with a dimmer switch for non-dimmable lights?

- Answer Thanks for your questions. Three way is the term to describe 2 switches controlling one fixture. So for this switch to work in a three way switch setup you will need two. These switches do not work on fluorescent lights, and the dimming is not able to be disabled, however this switch is not a dimmer switch just a smart on and off switch. Hope that helps. - Answer The on/off switch can control a ceiling fan, but it needs to be the on/off ONLY switch. Do not use the dimmer switch with a hardwired ceiling fan, it can damage the motor of the fan.

- Answer No. These must have a neutral wire. They are supposedly bringing out new switches in 2020 at some point for people with older houses that don't have the neutral wires.

QuestionCan this be mounted outside under a covered carport or would the temperature fluctuations and humidity damage it? it would be under a roof where I am planning to mount it and not getting rained on there is currently a standard indoor light switch there
