Yes, it is "just" a frame. If you are normally using the TV to watch shows, then maybe the frame is not what you need. But, if you also let it display art often, then it is worth the cost. In the picture I provided, the smaller "real" art item on the left is relatively small and still cost about $250 to frame. The cost of the big frame is in line with other frames you would buy at that size.
