QuestionAt what range will the camera detect movement?

- Answer Hello and thank you for your inquiry. The approximate ranges are as follows: Daytime Range is 12m with high sensitivity, 6m with medium sensitivity, and 4m with low sensitivity. Night time, because the motion is detected with the IR lights in the front the distance is about 5 meters.

Question1. I must know if the camera will wirelessly connect reliably to the monitor if mounted outside where the signal must pass through a stucco on plywood exterior wall, then two interior walls. Total distance is 32 feet. 1. What's Rated IP54 mean? Thanks!

QuestionWe have had a Defender Phoenix M2 with 2 camera for a year or two and it has worked Very well. We used to record on SD card during the day then plug SD card into computer ok. Now doesn't show any video for at least 1/2 of its playback time.

QuestionHow long does taping before it's taped over one week a month?

- Answer Put a 32gb sd card in check at the end of month. the camera will only record when something walkes in front of it. Put it on motion. I have never just put it on record. But do your own test because everyone has different motion where they live

QuestionI have my camera set- up inside and facing outside. One facing in front of the house and one facing back of the house and Every time I TURN ON THE CAMERA ONE OF THEM WILL TURN OFF and sometime both of them. What is the problem.?

QuestionHas anyone actually been able to contact their customer service department? I need a phone number or online chat link. I too am having the cam 1 out of range issue. The other cam is farther away and it works fine, it's def not a physical issue.

- Answer Thank you for your question Vic! As this is a wireless system it is susceptible to interference from outside sources such as your wireless router. Repairing the camera to the monitor may also assist in strengthening the signal. For contact information please reach out to the retailer and they should be able to assist. QuestionMy monitor keeps losing contact with the camera and reads out of range doesn’t matter if the monitor is only 1ft from camera.It shows out of range more than it has a picture.the system is only one month old.

Pairing the camera should restore your image, instructions to do so can be found on the quick start guide included with your PhoenixM2 System. QuestionMy sd card will not pull up on my computer from my defender phoenix M2. Do I need to download a program compatable with Defender? Any suggestions? My field cams sd cards come up , but I get nothing with the Defender sd card. Old compt worked not new on

- Answer Great question. The SD card should work just like the ones from your field cameras with no additional software required. It may be necessary to format the SD card (this will clear all data from the card) then use it to record once again. You will also want to confirm if you received a micro SD card and adapter or a full size SD card. - Answer Thank you for your question. It may be possible that the Mac does not recognize the file format or format of the SD card. You will also want to be sure the SD card is not locked. To check this, you will find a small switch on the side of the SD card or SD adapter.
