Hello, Thank you for your interest in the Dell S2340m LED monitor! It seems that the changes in font/icon sizes that you are looking for are controlled by the software and not the monitor. All the monitor can do is change the overall resolution/color/tint/brightness to the signal sent from the computer. Monitors do not have the processing power to read the code of the signal and make smart changes to items on the screen. When I want to make the items (words/icons/pictures) larger or smaller in programs like Internet Explorer/Firefox and the like I use the (Ctrl +) and (Ctrl -) key combinations. By pressing Ctrl and the + or - keys, you can effectively zoom in or out. . Hope this helps! JonathanNforDell
