“Can I use this device to finalize DVD-R discs that are not currently finalized? I have numerous DVD-R discs created on a 2004 Panasonic DVD Recorder. If finalizing these discs is not possible can I copy the videos and write to a new disc?”

You can play or burn your DVDs or CDs or load new software onto the hard drive with this Dell External USB Slim DVD +/– RW Optical Drive. This optical drive also comes with CyberLink Media Suite that can be used to play and burn DVD/CDs, or install disc–based computer programs.
