• Yes you can update the memory and ssd. You can go up to 32 GB of ram, and the sad is an nvme drive. There is room for a second ssd if you want it. Replacing them is a bit of a trick because you have to take off the back which is screwed and snapped on. The instructions are on dell's website.

• The Dell G5 15 5505 supports two M.2 2230/2280 solid-state drives and you can upgrade it up to 1 TB. However, we suggest you to not do any third party or non-Dell aftermarket upgrade, as that can void the system’s warranty.
