It looks to me as if Dell has released a newer version of this, the Dell Inspiron 15 7591. This is the time of year when they refresh a lot of their models. The 7590 I purchased has a ninth generation i7, which is still quite new. I'm guessing that the 7591 has a 10th generation chip. They usually discount the remaining stock of the model they are replacing, so for me the laptop I bought was a bargain.
