• Warranty is given by Dell (manufacturer). Best Buy is authorized for warranty repair. So you have both options, go to Best Buy or Dell. 1 may take less time. (If Best Buy can't repair at local location, they send to regional central repair center. Last time I had repair for laptop (HP), this was in Kentucky, USA (store in California).) (Some manufacturer's will prefer you to go through retailer from which you purchased, if they are warranty authorized. Ask to be sure.) If you purchase extended warranty or protection plan, then based on who you bought from & their policy. Outside the manufacturer's warranty, then you must go through the extended provider. If you got protection plan, may want to prefer since convers more problems.
