QuestionIn general, how is battery life on this laptop?

- Answer Its pretty good when you think about the Full HD output and the touch enabled screen. It gave me around 6 hours easy on a medium brightness and net surfing with light video. Haven't tried gaming on it yet. Although, don't expect Macbook Air levels of 10+ hours. If it helps, the charger is pretty small and light, not the usual giant bricks.

- Answer One is last years model without Windows Ink and the other is the latest model with Windows Ink. That's why last years model in on clearance right now. Just depends on whether you want the latest model with the Ink or not.

- Answer There is an adapter cable that plugs into the USB-C port and has an Ethernet connector on the other end. Best Buy and other stores sell this adapter.

QuestionDoes the laptop have integrated speakers? If so, how is the sound quality?

- Answer The speakers are decent. They are not Bose or super high end speakers by any means but, the sound quality is good. I would highly suggest adding some quality bluetooth extrenal speakers or headphones if you are looking for good stereo surround options. The volume is, by default, fairly low. So, you will need to adjust to really hear well. The speaker sound does not sound hollow, metallic, or "tinny" which is nice.

- Answer Yes, the screen is bright enough for classroom lighting. I have used it in class many times! The laptop usually sets the brightness up for your automatically (it adjusts itself) and you are able to manually control the brightness with a press of a button.

- Answer it is an "air cooled" system - it doesn't need a fan as the processor, RAM and SSD do not use the energy older computers needed, and don't generate the heat.

- Answer The hardware is not the same. Screen is sensitive to pen strokes. I think it is useful for 2-in-1s if you're doing reading, writing and especially drawing.

- Answer This is a CHROMEBOOK/Androidbook. The Pixelbook is NOT a Windows/Steam game machine. I don't play games, so I don't know how great the graphics card is beyond what I use it for. I do know that my Core i5 Pixelbook runs circles around by Core i7 Asus laptop on EVERYTHING else.

- Answer I believe that it's ur laptop. I've had mine for a month or so and not once has it gotten fairly hot or even close. Make sure to shut it down at the end of every day so it has time to rest for its next hard working day. Also, try to keep it on a surface where the air can circulate through the laptop such as a hardwood table.

QuestionCan you expand the ssd size?

- Answer Yes and no. The laptop is sealed, which means it does not have a compartment that you can unscrew to easily get to the hard drive. You can open the back (by a little prying) and get to the hard drive and replace it. This will VOID any warranty you may still have on the computer though! There are YouTube videos that show you how. If you take it to Best Buy, they will say you can't do it and advise you buy another machine.
