- Answer This laptop does not include a built-in optical drive. You can purchase Dell USB Slim DVD +/- RW Drive - DW316, it is compatible with this laptop and can be used to run CDs and DVDs.

QuestionI am trying to buy this 2 in 1 laptop either AMD RYZEN CPU or Intel Core i7. Is there a recommendation which one would be sufficiently to use? Also, Dell Inspiron 2-in-1 touch laptop has mentioned about the loud fan noises. If so, how loud is it?

- Answer Hi there, the fan does get loud sometimes but not horribly loud. Just enough that I notice it. The RYZEN is what I purchased and it’s fine. It seems to play well with all the applications I need (basic office use).. My IT guy said it wasn’t worth the extra $50 to get Intel Core i7. (I got mine on sale).

- Answer This laptop comes with a 30-day trial of MS Office. You would be able to use Microsoft Outlook to email. Other email options (Gmail, Yahoo Mail, etc) are done through the internet in which you would be able to access from this laptop.

QuestionI attempt to power on but it didn't, I then placed it to charge via 1 of the 2 type C ports (the closest one to hdmi port). Still didn,t turn on after. Aren't both type C port charging enabled or just 1 ? Or do I have a possible defective unit ?

QuestionIs this computer good to store photos and videos? Does the computer have an SD adaptor so I can put my cameras sd card in it?

- Answer It has an SD adapter and can store thousands of photos or some 60 hours of FHD video with the standard 512 GB drive. On-board drive is PCIe, which means data transfer will be limited by the speed of your SD card. There is no room inside for another drive, which means the only way to add more storage is to plug in an external USB drive or use cloud-based storage. I’m not sure this machine is suitable for photo/video editing beyond the basics, but it is very portable and would serve well to store and preview photos in the field, and then transfer to a capable machine for full-scale editing in a shop or office.
