Solid state drive (SSD). For sure. It makes the computer much faster. Basically, the SSD is flash memory instead of a platter that spins in a hard drive. If you want more detail, google it and you will find all kinds of answers.

Solid state drives typically cost much more though. Depending on what you are storing on your computer, I would go with the Solid State Drive. You may want to invest in an external hard drive though to store large files such as pictures and videos.
