Hi Joe, Thunderbolt 4 supports charging so you should have no issue using that port to charge your laptop. Just make sure the AC adapter you get is the correct wattage which should be listed on the current adapter you have now or just contact Dell support to find out the correct wattage. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, and no.....I have several GAN usb-c chargers capable of putting out 90w and 100w, all charge other laptops, none charge this laptop. I also have a Dell D6000 and Lenovo Gen2 USB-C dock with PD pass through, and those both power the laptop via the Thunderbolt 4 usbc port. Weird.
