Q: QuestionWhat type of motherboard does this contain? I plan to swap out the ram with 3200Mhz Dual Channel 2x8 RAM if it accepts it. I need that 3200Mhz speed for Fallout 4. I need to know if this motherboard Supports 3200Mhz speed RAM.

• A:Answer Probably not realistic. My 5675 with 1800X does not have an adjustable memory parameter in BIOS. It ONLY accepts the JEDEC value the RAM reports. NOT the XMP value. So even 3200MHz rated RAM will only run at the default JEDEC value. (Probably 2166 or 2400, but you MIGHT find higher as DDR4 memory becomes easier to manufacture, though the CL timings might make a low CL value 2166 stick of RAM actually more efficient than a sloppy, hi CL timing value 2400 stick of RAM.) So don't forget to pay attention to HOW the RAM is achieving those high-speed ratings....

• A:Answer Windows 10 Home is pre-installed on SATA M.2 256GB SSD. It has one empty PCI -E M.2 SSD slot. You may want to upgrade OS drive to PCI-E M.2 SSD for faster speed as I did.

• A:Answer You can upgrade the GPU. The limiting factor might be the power supply and you might need to also upgrade it. You can add 16 GB of RAM (to get 32GB) with a single memory stick.

• A:Answer The motherboard has slots for two video cards. However, the power supply is only 460 watts. I just used an online power supply estimator and it recommended about a 700 watt power supply for two Rx 580 cards + the rest of this system's configuration. It looks like you'd have to also install a larger power supply if you would be pushing two cards. Regards.

• A:Answer Yes, it will work with a 4K monitor BUT if your intended use is gaming, you will probably be disappointed. The RX 580 typically gives average frame rates in the high 20's to low 40's depending on the game at 4K. Suggest you look for online reviews and benchmark results to see if what you want to do matches the capabilities of the RX 580.

• A:Answer My 1800X is air-cooled. DELL sells a liquid-cooling option, but I didn't see it on Best Buys' site. For the record, even when I'm rendering 4K video, the CPU fan never gets THAT loud, and I barely ever hear it, even if I play games like World Of Tanks at maximum. The VIDEO CARD'S fan on the other hand... Quite noticeable under full load, so the CPU fan is easily drowned out by the video card's fan. (Sorry, I don't play any AAA class games to report on how loud they make my 5675 get.)
