This desktop supports wide range of both wired and wirless printers. Dell does not have any specific recommendations.

Be sure to restart the computer after updating, and if the connection doesn’t work immediately, give it 24-48 hours. It took roughly 24 hours after the updates for the WiFi and Ethernet connections to be recognized. One last thought — it may need to turn off the Firewall to connect the printer initially — it was necessary for the computer and printer here.

This is the update that reportedly fixes the previous bug preventing connection with Windows 11 compatible printers. In addition, it has installed the following updates: 2022-12 Cumulative Update for .NET FRAMEWORK 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5020880), 2022-08 Security Update for Windows 11 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB501270), and 2022-04 Update for Windows 11 for x64-based Systems (KB4023057). The computer successfully located my printer via the WiFi connection (once enabled), and a connection has been established. Printer is able to print from the computer! The options for adding a printer are referenced under Settings, Printers & scanners. Choose “Add device” to see the next steps for connecting a Windows 11 compatible printer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Theoretically, this computer should be able to connect with the printer via Ethernet, USB, and WiFi. However, Windows 11 has reportedly had issues connecting with some printers. There are many articles online about this issues. In some cases, a fairly recent Windows update has addressed the issue. My Windows 11 compatible printer does not work with Windows 11 even after doing multiple uninstalls and reinstalls of the printer’s driver as well as Windows updates. Consequently, I use AirPrint with my iPhone to print documents instead of printing directly from my computer. To check whether a specific printer is compatible with Windows 11, please refer to the manufacturers’ websites. They list printers that are reportedly compatible.
