The Num Lock has to do with the keyboard not with the OS ....

There are a few ways to deal with the problem. 1) Bring up the on screen keyboard by typing On-Screen Keyboard in the search box & click on NUMLOCK with the mouse. This is likely to go away once you reboot. 2) This appears to be a common Windows issue with garbage in a registry key - this is more involved, but more likely a permanent fix - this explains it about as well as anything else: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/numlock-startup-windows-7-8 It says windows 7 & 8, but works on Windows 10.

Please try again later.You are right in the fact that the USB keyboard supplied with this unit does not have a NUMLOCK button (and there's not even a place for an indicator to signify you're in NUMLOCK). I had a wireless Logitech keyboard / mouse combo that I'm using with this machine (instead of the USB version provided with the unit). The Logitech version does have a NUMLOCK key that works - the only thing I've noticed is that you have to reset it after every power up but it then stays set until the next reboot. Even with that, you still have no indicator that signifies you've got NUMLOCK set.
