QuestionDoes the graphics card have its own on board memory?

- Answer The graphics card on the Best Buy 8940 is very limited. While the online photos reflect several display ports, it only has one display port, one HDMI and DVI. So, if you have multiple monitors, like I do, this doesn't cut it. Plus, if you want to upgrade the video card, the power supply can't be upgraded. I wish I had purchased directly from Dell and got what I wanted.

QuestionDoes this system have an RJ-45 jack to support a 10/100 Base-T direct LAN connection? As the system unit will be in very close proximity to the router, I prefer to use a direct connection to it.

- Answer Yes, this desktop can support monitor with VGA connection but does not have a VGA port to connect directly, you would have to use a HDMI to VGA adapter or converter.

- Answer This would help you with the audio but not the 5.1 channel sound system. You will have to use an extension to connect the 5.1 sound system.
