No, it does not have an audio pre out. The only line level pre out is has are the two rca subwoofer outputs. There also of course is the audio out through hdmi. There are two hdmi outputs, one of which you could use as an audio output (via hdmi) Hope this helps.

Hello, The AVR-S960H does not have a pre-out for an external amplifier. If the pre-out is to a power amp for speakers in the Main Zone, the AVR-X3800H is the model to consider. If you only need a pre-out for Zone 2, the AVR-X1700H is the nearest model to the AVR-S960H which has this feature.
