Hello. Yes - four speakers can be supported by the AVR-X3800H in Zone 2. The easiest way to achieve this is to use our optional wireless Home speakers which can be controlled by the free HEOS app. If you want to run speaker wires, you can send the feed from the assigned speaker terminals on the rear panel into an optional speaker switching box (such as a Niles SS4). This helps prevent overload. If you have particularly demanding speakers or you like to listen at higher volume levels in Zone 2, you may wish to consider an optional external power amplifier to power the Zone 2 speakers. This would connect to the AVR-X3800H's Zone 2 pre-out with the optional Niles SS4 speaker switching box between the power amplifier and the four Zone 2 speakers.
