- Answer To clarify, all of our 8K / HDMI 2.1 models are having an issue with one specific 4K/120 source device. All other 4K/120 and 8K source devices are passing those resolutions through the AVR properly. For the one 4K/120 source, we will have a solution coming very soon. Regarding some X6700Hs that used substitute capacitors, this was very early on in production. To find out if your unit has sub caps installed, please contact our Support team and provide them with your serial #. At this point now, any retailer should be selling X6700Hs with the original caps installed.

- Answer Good luck on that adapter, I signed up over 2 months ago. I got an email that I would get it within two weeks and never heard from them again. They do not respond to any further emails on it. Still waiting.

QuestionI am looking to buy a new Denon 6700H but all of them for sale say they are a 2020 model. Does this mean they were made in 2020 and will still have this hdmi 8k bug or are they newly made but just made as a 2020 model as there was not a newer model made

- Answer Hello and thank you for your question. 2020 was the original release date of the model. The need for the free HDMI adapter is only required for early released models for playback of 4K/120 Gaming consoles. New models do not require the HDMI adapter. The AVR-X6700H is a current model still in production.

Questiongot SPK618 adapter yesterday i noticed it only works with the 8k hdmi port and not 4k hdmi I've noticed is i have to have both Instant game response & AMD freesync on my 4k lg to be able to see the info on Denon, it takes few secs for siginal with both on

QuestionWhy does the price of the is receiver keep going up every few months? It went from $2,499 to $2,599 now $2,999. Absolutely insane. Was gonna buy it within the next month or two but now I'll have to wait till the price drops. Why is this?

- Answer This is purely conjecture, but the supply chain is one and the other is there has been a replacement board integrated in the AVR to support 8K Pass through for all devices. Can you say XBox Series X without the external box?
