A:AnswerYes. You can unscrew/release the speaker connection, slide the wire in and tighten to secure. I have banana plugs for the speaker and bare wire for the receiver.
A:AnswerHello and thank you for the question. The Denon DRA-800H should have no trouble at all driving a pair of JBL speakers as the DRA-800H is 4ohm stable. Most JBL speakers tend to be highly efficient speakers making them easier to drive.
A:AnswerHi Martini,
The record out feature can be found on our integrated amplifiers, but the DRA-800H does not have this feature. The closest to such a port on the DRA-800H is the Zone 2 pre-out. As this is not a line level output port, it is affected by the DRA-800H's volume control (which can work as a secondary record level if used to feed a cassette deck's line-in).
Connect the Zone 2 output of the DRA-800H to your cassette deck's Line-in port, select Zone 2 with your DRA-800H remote control, then select the source you wish to record from with the same remote control. This should allow you to record from any 2 channel source.
A:AnswerUnfortunately, today's receivers don't include a Record Out function as the use of that technology has diminished greatly. The workaround here with the DRA-800H is to use the analog Zone 2 pre-out to your Teak's input. To do this properly, you would have to set the DRA's Zone 2 pre-out to a fixed level (i.e. 80) in the menu. (General - Zone 2 Setup - Volume Level)

A:AnswerOnly if you connect the EQ inline with a specific source. None of our DRA or AVR models today have an EQ loop (Pre-out / Main In) or a Tape loop as that technology is not widely used anymore.
A:AnswerA "Loudness" feature will alter frequencies to make the audio appear louder. The Volume knob will control the amount of wattage that's output from the unit's amp section.
A:AnswerHello, our Denon DRA-800H model is a 2 channel receiver designed for LT and RT stereo playback. For center channel connection and or surround sound, consider our similar priced AVR-X1700H surround sound receiver.
A:AnswerYes the Denon DRA-800H will handle the wonderful BP-9060 speakers. This will prove to great match as the BP-9060 speakers have powered bass drivers.
A:AnswerYes the DRA-800H works with Alexa. Built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Apple AirPlay 2 allow you to stream music from popular services like Spotify®, Pandora®, Amazon Music, TuneIn, iHeart Radio, Sound Cloud, SiriusXM and TIDAL. It also has HEOS built-in.
A:AnswerI happened to have an old i-phone 6s and it pairs instantly with the Denon. Keep in mind, even the newest apple devices won't stream most hi-rez audio with bluetooth, the highest they'll stream is 24/44.1khz. You're better off using the HEOS app, especially if you're streaming Amazon Ultra HD or Tidal.
