Regular speaker wire will work fine. You can unscrew the speaker connector to expose the hole for the speaker wire. Tighten the speaker connector and you are finished. I will say that banana plugs make life easier if you ever need to remove your speaker wire for whatever reason.

Just trim the protective layer off and place into the corresponding port and twist it closed. I did it this way initially and it worked fine, but I eventually installed banana plugs to make it a little cleaner and easier to disconnect when needed.
