A:AnswerI had this same problem. As soon as I would put battery to charge the orange light would blink super fast. I thought it was the battery, but after purchasing a battery to only find out that the charger was the problem. I found it hard to believe because I had only had my camera for 7 months.
A:AnswerNo this Digipower battery is not compatible with the Nikon D3400. I purchased this battery in January 2017. When powering on the Nikon camera with this battery an error message is displayed on the LCD display indicating that it is incompatible. See photo. You must buy the Nikon brand.
A:AnswerI have a D5200 and none of my 3rd party batteries work anymore after updating my firmware. The only one that will work is my Nikon batteries and non of my digipower work. I was only able to use them a couple of times so I guess I wasted my money by buying aftermarket.
A:AnswerMy battery didn't seat properly at first and wouldn't charge. Make sure it is properly seated and has good contact inside the charger when inserting the battery. Took two or three tries before my new battery would charge, now it works every time. Jiggle it, just a little bit.
A:Answerthe voltage question is not a battery issue, but the charger charging it. so if you look at the back of the charger it should give you an input voltage (something like 110V or 100-240 V, the second being international ready), but the battery is not the dependent part.
A:AnswerI used this with my D5500 and it lasted 3 days while leaving the camera on overnight and while taking pictures and video during the day. I love this battery and could not ask for more. I keep two and don't have to charge any batteries while on week long trips.
