Yes, this charger works with the Canon Powershot SX 530. I have used mine for two years and I am purchasing another one to replace the two year old charger. It charges the NL batteries relatively fast as well.

We bought it for an Olympus SX700 HS ... the markings on the specific battery in the Olympus state it's a replacement for Canon NB-6L, Li-ion 3.7V 650mAh/2.4Wh, Item #BP-CN6l, Lot #13793 ... manufactured by Digipower.
