The dishwasher I purchased (Bosch) came with an installation package that had 2 front mounting plates that tie the front of the dishwasher to the counter top. Your installer may have to drill two small holes in your counter top. They are very small holes. The installation kit including the electrical connection from the dishwasher to the power outlet is not included and will have to be purchased separately. The sales person at Best Buy should have told you this.

Though most dishwashers are screwed in at the top (like ours was at installation), instructions explain that in cases of granite (or quartz) countertops, brackets are instead mounted at the sides. I'd think this should've been taken care of at installation.
