True, if you look at the returnable date under your purchases, you will see that it is one year out. I just traded in my Air 2 for the 2S.

BTW Best Buy offer a member warranty program for $200 ( 1 year) which they will fix or replace any warranty item from the store. (Does not include lost or stolen). And it allows for discounts on a lot of items. The one year warranty from DJI is almost that much for just the drone. Just a thought.
