“How well does it float? It’ll be mostly used above a large lake. Also, what’s up with the higher minimum operating temperature? The mavic air 2 says it’ll operate down to 14 degrees, but this one says 41.”

It does not float! if you land on the lake, the fish will have a new toy! I have flown as cold as 26F and had no issues. It does have a fan to help cool it as it gets warm.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm in New Orleans and therefore cannot answer the part of your question about temperatures. I can however tell you that it doesn't float!!! If you crash into the water, it will go straight to the bottom. They do however sell floating landing gear attachments on Amazon and eBay. If your drone crashes in the water with the floating landing gear, it will keep your drone from sinking to the bottom! I've been having mine for a year and a half and never crashed. It has 7 sensors and it's a high technology device. It's actually hard to crash!
