- Answer Neither Bestbuy nor Geek Squad will give you even an extended warranty. However, I called DJI and it haas a warranty that started when the original owner registered it before he returned it. You can also get DJI Care Refresh, but they'll make you record a detailed video showing the drone is in perfect condition before they approve selling you the extended warranty.

- Answer Mine came with 3 plus-size batteries, the charging hub, and 2 small USB cables. Next month the drone 'officially' needs to be registered with the FAA, since the added weight takes the drone over 250g and the mini 4 pro transmits the remote ID with the larger battery installed.

- Answer Yes, I did but had to submit some information to DJI online and have them assess the status/ condition of the drone before they agreed to offer the 1 yr coverage for the $79 fee. DJI has a good information tutorial about how to get them the necessary info on their website you can follow.

QuestionWhat if I buy the refurbished drone but it is still bound to the previous owner? How do I know how many cycles are on each battery? How can I find out if each battery is indeed a Plus version and not the standard version?

- Answer If you get a bound version from BB, DJI states you need to provide them with the invoice and proof of purchase and they can unbound the device. To check battery cycles, you’ll need to go to camera view, About page and battery I believe. To see if the battery is a plus version, just simply read the outside of the battery. If the exterior of the battery doesn’t have “ULTRA LIGHT | 249g” it’s a plus battery. I’m site there are part numbers that differentiate them, but I don’t have that info.
