by FAA regs you are limited to 400 AGL. but believe me it can go way higher

Legally you're only allowed to fly to 400 feet in the US but the actual max altitude is 1600 feet agl. Keep in mind that if you're flying at a significant altitude above sea level that your max height, speed and endurance may decrease.

The Mavic Air 2 max altitude is 3.10 mile (5 km)

Legally 400 feet, but will go up to around 1600 feet before reaper drones shoot it down.

You should not fly over 400 feet, AGL which is Above Ground Level. This restriction is from the FAA.
