Questionwhat is the flight range of the dji mavic mini

- Answer Range is 4km or about 2.5 miles. Realistically this is way too far away to keep a visual. I'd say about 1500-2000 feet is realistic. Battery life is about 27 min in normal conditions 30 minutes if perfect conditions.

- Answer It does not need to be FAA registered as it’s just below the weight requirement. But... you still have to follow all of the FAA drone rules. Just because it’s small you aren’t allowed to fly over people, sports events or close to airports. Activate... you’ll need the smartphone/device app which will in effect activate/register it with DJI

- Answer The Combo has everything you need to be able to fly. However, make sure you have a compatible cell phone for viewing while you fly. It is a lot more fun. I also found out that the Ipad mini, version 4 is compatible, even though it isn't listed as one of the compatible devices. Using my Ipad mini gives me a much bigger viewing area.

- Answer I can’t speak for Best Buy... But any iPhone or Android phone on sale that meets these requirements. Requires Android 6.0 or above. Requires iOS 10.0 or above. QuestionCan I purchase the DJI Care Refresh (Mavic Mini) from Best Buy? If not can I purchase it from DJI directly even if I buy the Mavic Mini from Best Buy?

- Answer From other DJI drone purchases, you have a certain amount of days to buy DJI Care, no questions asked (consider that since you need the app to fly they know exactly when you first used it). If you wait to buy, they had a program where you couyld take a video of all the features working (using a preset script) and submit that... once they approved the video the purchase was approved. I dont know if they still offer it. So simply just buy direct soon after firing up the drone

- Answer You get 3 rechargeable batteries, battery pack to charge all batteries (can be used as a portable charger), extra propellers, 3 attachments for phones (lighting port, USB-C, and micro usb), propeller protectors for those learning to fly, extra thumb sticks for controller, controller, case, drone, and cord with a wall port to charge the battery pack and even the controller. All items that you get for the fly more combo is worth every cent spent.

- Answer I don't believe so. I took mine out to a park with my old phone that is disconnected and I had no wifi or mobile service. It worked just fine.

- Answer If this is your first drone, that will be a very stressing moment, but actually nothing bad happens. The phone will sound, and the screen will switch to the caller ID. If you have a hands free headset, you will be able to answer the call, if not, the smart thing to do would be reject the call and keep flying. Just go back to the app for that. You keep full control of the drone with the joysticks the whole time.
