The remote does have an LCD screen. It is not a touch screen and will not display your live video feed. For this you would need to connect your phone to the remote via the device mount and cable. The remote screen, however, displays vital information like connection status, GPS strength, obstacle avoidance sensor status, speed, altitude, etc. It is especially useful if you would like to fly without your device and don't need the FPV view.

The remote has a plug in style adapter and your actual phone is the screen you view. The remote has actual readouts on functions etc but you view what the drone views on your phone. You download the app. Very easy. Plug your phone into the remote and theres a cool set of arms that hold your phone snug into the remote. Once you sinc ig all it's very easy and cool and can clip videos and photos straight from your phone.
