I have a 256GB and it works great for me. You have to manually review/remove photos and videos anyway, so I think shooting at high resolution anything over 64GB

Please try again later.the bigger the sd card, the more you can save on it. i would say 16 to 64 is good, 16gb is all you need if you download to your computer often so it doesnt fill up the card. you may can also transfer to your cell but put it on your cells sd card so it doesnt fill up your cell phone. you may want to buy subscription to google photos to upload it there on the cloud so you dont run out of space on your phone.
