• Stay within 2-3 miles to be safe. Distance is also based on wind conditions.

• Here's where DJI gets sneaky.. They will advertise 4 miles or greater, however this is calculated as a one trip and is strongly affected by wind. On a calm day you might go 3 miles out but the battery will tell you its time to come home. Either way, the range is wonderful. Remember that the FCC has rules against flying beyond your eye sight - meaning it must be seen by the pilot at all times. Do we fracture this rules, yep. Be careful.
