It is 249 grams. The threshold that requires registration is 250 Grams, so if you add ANYTHING like a strobe light or landing gear, it will exceed that weight and require registration. A minimum of a TRUST certificate is required of anyone operating a drone. It does require a test that you cannot fail, is free and you can find it by googling Pilot Institute TRUST certificate. If you do register the drone, do it yourself on the FAA website for $5 for 3 years. There are scammers who will do it for you for $100 by leading you to believe that they are the FAA...the cost is only $5...do not pay more
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would have to register it with the heavier battery as it would then exceed the limit. With the 34 minute battery it's just under that limit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 45 minute batteries puts it over the 249 gram limit, and this means it’s supposed to be registered.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To be legal... If you fly with extended battery, the remote ID will be enabled. Since it is now over 250g, you need to register it. Now that it is registered, when you fly it, it needs to be running Remote ID, now even with the previous lighter battery (because it had to be registered). Now ehen you fly with the original smaller battery and the registered drone, you will need to purchase a Remote ID module to run when you are flying the smaller battery (Don't kill the messenger.) So... Just keep to the small batteries and you only have your TRUST to worry about gettng. Here's the article: https://pilotinstitute.com/remote-id-update-for-dji-mini-3-and-4/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The heavier "Plus" battery will put your mini 4 pro over 250 grams, so you need to register it with the FAA, it's an easy process, and it's only $5 for 3 years. The mini 4 pro automatically transmitts information to the FAA when using the PLUS batteries, but the latest software upgrade has the drone stop transmitting data out, if you have a standard battery inserted. If you never use the PLUS batteries, then there is no requirement to register it, unless you are using it commercially aka business. Recreational and under 250 grams registration is optional.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. You can do this online and there's no test or other requirements.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes with the Plus battery, the drone has to be registered with the FAA due to weighing over 250g.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes that battery unfortunately takes you over the 249g weight limit
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the 45 minute battery puts it over the .55 lb weight limit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes if it’s with the 47 minute intelligent battery drone weighs more than using the regular battery. Drone weights like below 250 g.
